To all electronic, robotic or PIC micro controller geeks out there, if you are reading this, I need a favor from you.

I realized that there are many community and forum out there that discuss on D.I.Y. electronic and embedded system projects. Yet, some students and hobbyists still find it quite hard to get what they want to be done, or maybe something that can really satisfy their needs.

If you are one of them, here’s a favor I need from you. If there is such a blog or forum out there doing discussion on such topics, I mean topics on any projects involving PIC micro controller, what would you expect from it? I mean how would you like a blog like that to exist in order to help you in whatever PIC micro controller projects you are working on, be it for competition, for final year project, for fun, or for whatever reason you want it to be.

For those who are interested, kindly let me know how you think bout this idea by posting it in my comment box.

The atmosphere was tensed at the game field. The three uncompleted pyramids stood still as 55 teams were struggling to conquer each of them.

History has repeated itself since year 2007, where the final match was conquered by both UTM Teams. After four days of long battle, the champion was then decided when the organizer finally announced, “JUARA BAGI PERTANDINGAN ROBOCON MALAYSIA 2010 DIMENANGI OLEH PASUKAN UTM B !!!”

It was a long and tough journey. Days were never satisfying after we were dethroned 3 years ago. There’s a saying that goes, “The higher you climb, the harder you fall”.

Yet, we knew that it’s part of our life process. There’s nothing that goes up but never comes down. What matter is how resilient are we after the 2 years of defeat and how to get ourselves standing up again after the fall.

It was also the pain of defeat and the desire to fight back that brought us here today. Running with our victory flag around the game field, standing on this stage, waving our team’s banner, and proudly proclaim, “WE ARE THE CHAMPION ONCE AGAIN !!!”

Much tears and sacrifice has been made, but all that was out weighted by the cry of victory and the joy we shared on the stage. It was not simply the victory of individual, but a great victory for the whole team and the university, especially our team manager.

Yet, the champion title is not the only thing we brought back from the competition. This year, all three teams did not come back empty handed, as each of them was awarded something valuable from the game.

Best Technology Award  :   UTM Team C

RTM Special Award  :   UTM Team B

There are still a few weeks left before the international game, which will be held at Cairo, Egypt. Despite the victory, we knew that there is still much for us to improve, to modify and repair before we are ready to face the bigger challenge ahead, to stand side by side with the best teams from other countries.

Though I may not be able to join you guys at Egypt, my heart and support will never leave the team.
