2 years ago, I wanted to win the Robocon 2009 domestic game so badly in order to represent Malaysia to compete in the international game, which was held in Tokyo, Japan. Unfortunately, we’re disqualified. And I’m not sure whether was it fate or what that I once again have the chance to step into this dream country. Different objectives, but same destination. Well, maybe we just have to learn that in life when thing did not turned out as we planned, it might not be a failure, but instead it’s just incorrect timing.

Nevertheless, it was also a year full of uncertainties, a changing point where I have to make decisions. Many things came in surprisingly when I was yet ready to face them. I gotta say I’ve spent too many years in education that doesn’t help me much when it comes to making decisions for myself. Coming to Japan was the right choice, but at the same time a bad choice. It gave me more options to choose for myself, but at the same time complicated my thinking. Instead of getting more focus, I’m being diversified.

So this year, I won’t be setting any resolution for myself. Just trying to focus on my entrance exam which will be in this coming February. For the others, well… let’s only think about them when the time is right…

For those of you who have no idea what’s Robocon, it’s an annual robotic competition where teams from different institutes of higher learning construct robots to complete certain tasks, and the team who manage to complete the tasks in the shortest time and scores the highest point wins the game.

This year, there will be 55 teams competing in Malaysia Domestic Game. The champion team will be representing Malaysia to the international game at Egypt.

Just wanna ask you guys, do I look like a soft person…? (nah, not those gay type la…)

The reason I’m asking this is because I’ve been having problem with maids lately:

1) Back to grandma’s house, and the maid kept complaining things to me.

2) Went to uncle’s house, same thing happened.

3) This morning my ex-neighbor, who’s also working as a part time maid, also did the same thing.

I mean, if they have problem, shouldn’t it be more appropriate to confront the source of problem, instead of getting me into their problem? Am I some sort of “cushion”?

I do respect every single person around me, no matter what status they’re having, but does that mean that they can just manipulate me for their own advantage?

Well, I guess I’m just not the type who can hire maid to work for me in future… haha.

Wanna find lecturer for recommendation letter but he’s not around.

Went Singapore with the team members and have a look with the company I previously applied. To my surprise, the office’s SO BIG that it can hardly stuck 10 person inside.

Celebrated course mate’s birthday, someone’s getting old…

Yet getting blur… =P

Finally completed my long-delayed modified power supply. Soldered 2 pieces of 32-bits PIC Microcontroller…

And got myself a new PIC Programmer.

Will be bored to dead without these few gadgets with me for the coming 2-month holiday at home.

Have been sleeping in lab for few days and my back started to ache. Miss my sleeping bed.

Today, I’m going back home…

Because for the last whole weekend, I have been getting all the unexpected shits… and lost almost half of everything.

One week left, can I make it in time?

I really can’t believe it…

That I’m being so reckless…

That at this critical moment, I decided to make this major change to my project’s whole mechanism.

Intuition? I doubt it…

And yet I really did, rushed and completed in one day.

1) Didn’t celebrate CNY at KL.

2) Spent 1st day of CNY at Singapore, 2nd at PN, Johor.

Things that did change this year:

1) Accidentally formed a “clan” – Broken Ninjas.

2) Broke record in term of having the most number of “Reunion” Dinners before CNY. Tried different styles of dinner, including…

… steamboat in the rain.

3) Break record for spending almost a week in PN for CNY holiday.

Then he saw my robot “standing” on the table, and he ask:

“Wah, your project is almost done liao wor!?”

In fact, that was only about 50% of everything, and I have about 5 weeks left to complete it.

Aw… somehow felt being”pierced”… indirectly.
